It was an amazing day for all the committes and the members of Amikom English Club in the recently program of General Conversation (GC) “Tourist Hunting” in Prambanan Temple on (Feb/22nd ). This activity was a program to improve the capability of using English especially in speaking with the foreigners. All the members practiced their bravery in asking, giving explanation as well as to promote Prambanan Temple as Indonesian cultural tourism in the wonders of the world.
This activity was started with divided the group and gave some missions to get as many as tourists, asked some questions, and got the picture with the tourists and then uploaded in the WhatsApp group. They were given 3 hours to complete the mission and for the fastest group which completed the mission can get a doorprize. And then for each group delivered the presentation.
Even though it was a very hot weather but all the committes and the members was fun joined this program because we met and got a chance to speak with Japanese tourist (Shunsuke Nishizawa). He was very welcome to share his culture and habit in Japan so did us. We also had lunch together under the tree and enjoy the atmosphere of Prambanan Temple. It became the unforgettable memory because this activity gave us a new experience to know another culture of different countries. Hopefully our relationship and kinship will be closer among us.
